Dec 2 – Dec 8 2013 Fishing Report

This week on Lake Okeechobee the winds were light and it was the week of the new moon. The water temp high was 75 degrees. We have had 8 days of stable weather so the fishing was pretty good.
Earlier this week we had some overcast days and spinnerbaits was THE bait to throw, but later in the week topwaters in the eel grass were the key. Here is a picture of my buddy John Hodgson with a 9.7lb trophy largemouth, caught this weekend. You can check the water levels on Lake Okeechobee at
