Jan 2 – Jan 13, 2017 – Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Report

The last week or so has been tough on Lake Okeechobee. We had a bad boat accident and a couple of cold fronts here in the area but there are some good fish to catch. The lake level is at 15.42ft and the water clarity is good in the north end of the lake as well as the the North/West end of the lake.

The best bait is still wild shiners. On the artificial side, fishing a big Senko on the offshore grass has been producing some good catches. You can check the water level at Lake Okeechobee at www.okeechobeejust4bass.com. Here is a couple of fish I catch in the warm days over the last couple of weeks.
