The last couple of weeks it has been very hot , but the amazing thing about this lake it only takes 1 pitch to catch the fish of a life time. Water temps are in the low 90,s and the lake is free of algae. You can fish anywhere and catch fish.
The Kissimmee grass in the morning is the key you can catch any were from 12 – 15 lbs there on spinnerbaits and swimjigs if there is some wind on the bank, if there is no wind Pitch and filp the Kissimmee grass. After that you pitch and or flip any target that you see on the inside. I have fishing a 1oz. Jig in Black/ Blue with a big trailer. Keep your head down and fish the bits are lite. Good area to fish are Grassy Island, King Bar, J&S and North Shore. Here is a picture of a couple of fish I caught This week in a Charity Tournament. I won it with 19.08 it was a 3 fish tournament.
