The last couple of weeks on Lake Okeechobee the winds have been mostly from the South/West at 5-10 mph. The water temp has been in the high 80’s. The water clarity on the East side of the lake is muddy, the North end is ok and the West end is good.
The morning bite is still in the Kissimmee grass with a Swim jig and a Spinnerbait. After the morning bite is over Flip-Pitch the outside edge of the Kissimmee grass with a Jig or worm. With the water being so low, they are on the outside for the most part. Good areas to fish are Little Grassy, Kings Bar, Tin House and the Lakeport area of the lake.
