This week on Lake Okeechobee the winds have been light if any at all and the water temp is in the high 80’s. The water clarity on the East side of the lake is still good. The North end is OK and the West end of the lake is still a little muddy. Right now for me the Shoal is the best area.
Right now the best bite in the morning is in the Kissimmee grass but that is only good up to 07:30 and that is with a white swim jig. After that I am Pitchin /Flipping the rest of the day with a Black/Blue Gambler 1oz. Jigzilla. The best area I have been fishing this week was the shoal. Here is a picture of my buddy Brock with a couple of fish we caught this week.
