This week on Lake Okeechobee the wind has still been pretty bad and the front last Friday has cooled the water some too. The good news is that the water on the north end of the lake has cleared up some. This was the week of the full moon and the bream beds were the pattern for this week.
Best baits were the Strike King swim jig, the War Eagle spinner bait in the smaller sizes, a light weighted Gambler Burner Worm and do not forget about the frog in the lilly pads. Good areas to fish are the Pass, the mouth of the Kissimmee River and the Lakeport area. Here is a picture of some fish I caught on Lake Kissimmee this week.
