This week on Lake Okeechobee the wind has been lite and the water temp has been in the low 80’s. The summer time pattern is here.
You can catch up to 30 fish the first thing in the morning on the outside kissimmee grass. The best baits to use is a War Eagle Spinnerbait and a Strike King swim jig in white or black/blue. Then later in the morning I have been fishing the outside of the grass line with a 1oz Gambler Jigzilla in black/blue. Good areas to fish now are Kings Bar, Grassy Island Lakeport area and the Shoal.
