Nov 15 – 20, 2017 – Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Report

This week on Lake Okeechobee the fishing has been fantastic. The winds have been form the North North/ East most of the week and the water temp is in the low 70’s. The water clarity is still muddy down on the south end and the East end of the lake, but the North and West end is very fishable.

The best bait is wild shiners and I have been catching them up to 10 lbs. On the artificial side the best bait is Rattle Traps, Topwater, and Senkos. Good areas to fish are the Pass, Tin House, 4th point and the Lake port area of the lake. The water level is a 16.49ft and they have slowed down the pulling of the water. You can check the water level of Lake Okeechobee at Here is a picture of a couple good fish that I caught this week.
